❝ walk by f a i t h, not by s i g h t ❞
I haven't had some holy epiphany or anything, but I thought I should blog before i head off to bed, I mean this may mean something to someone somewhere, even if there is only one person that reads this. It's no different to 100 people reading this. Making a difference to someone SOMEWHERE is something.
anyways...
Today, I was studying hardcore for the numerous SAC's/TESTS that I have next week when my aunty brought over this movie for me to watch. It's called 'The Book of Eli' (starring Denzel Washington) this average human, like YOU and I, was given a message from God and he followed it, and never once strayed from the path. The themes that this movie conveyed were powerful and they shared a message about how GOD has never forsaken us, and never will, that through all the trials and tribulations, having faith in God will help you to pull through.
The movie was just a huge wakeup call on the fact that on this journey that we're on, we need to learn to trust in God... we have to walk by our faith, and not by our SIGHT. God will lead is in the right direction, we just have to trust in him.
That doesn't mean that you should go out and just start closing your eyes before you cross a busy intersection. HELL TO THE NO ! It just means, well I think it just means, that in this life God calls us to do his will and he asks and PLEADS that we follow the path that he's laid out for us by our faith in him, not by how we see it. WE. MUST. TRUST. IN. HIM ! and I know it may not make sense, and I know I'm still that annoying, inexperienced teenager. But this I believe is true ! Just think about it...
